Cookies & storage

Last reviewed 16 September 2026

We store a small amount of information on your device. Some of it is required for the site to work at all; the rest we only store if you agree. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer of every page.

Nothing in the analytics or marketing categories below is stored on your device unless you have given consent. If you decline, we do not store an identifier for you, and we do not pass an advertising identifier to Google or to our booking provider.

If you decline analytics, Google Analytics still receives a record of the page view with no identifier attached and with advertising identifiers removed, under Google Consent Mode. We use this only for aggregate visit counts.

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information collected through magicfit.ai or directly from you.

By providing personal information, you indicate that you have read and accepted this policy. You are not required to provide personal information, but it may affect your use of the site or our products and services.

1. Type of personal information collected

The type of personal information we collect is set out on our website. If we receive your information from third parties, we protect it in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

2. Collection and use

We collect and use personal information to contact and communicate with you, for internal record keeping and for marketing.

3. Disclosure

We may disclose personal information to provide our products and services to you, and as required by law.

Where we disclose your information to third parties, we request they follow this Privacy Policy.

If you book a call with us after accepting marketing cookies, we pass a hashed (SHA-256) version of the email address you enter into the booking form to Google Ads, so that Google can measure which of our advertisements led to the booking. Google receives the hashed value only and is located in the United States. You can prevent this by declining or withdrawing marketing cookies via Cookie settings in the footer of every page.

4. Access and correction

Access: You may request details of personal information we hold, in circumstances set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). An administrative fee may apply. We may refuse in certain circumstances under the Privacy Act.

Correction: If you believe any information we hold is inaccurate or out of date, contact us by email. We rely on customers to advise us of changes. We will respond within a reasonable time and correct any inaccuracies promptly.

5. Complaints about breach

If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles and wish to complain, please contact us at the details below.

6. Unsubscribe

To unsubscribe from our email database or opt out of communications, contact us at the details below.

7. Storage and security

We are committed to keeping the information you provide secure.

EU/UK data rights

Applies if you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom

This section applies in addition to the Privacy Policy above where the EU General Data Protection Regulation or the UK GDPR applies to you.

Controller

Magic Fit Pty Ltd (ACN 698 172 020, ABN 12 698 172 020) is the controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact us using the details below.

What we collect, and our legal basis

  • Analytics and advertising measurement — device and usage data as set out in the storage table above. Legal basis: your consent (Art 6(1)(a)). You may withdraw it at any time via Cookie settings in the footer; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out beforehand.
  • Demo bookings and contact forms — the name, email address and any message you send us. Legal basis: steps at your request prior to entering a contract (Art 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest (Art 6(1)(f)) in responding to business enquiries.
  • Site security and delivery — server and network logs, including IP address. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art 6(1)(f)) in operating a secure and available service.

Who receives it

Google (analytics and advertising measurement), Cal.com (demo bookings), Formspree (contact form delivery), Cloudflare (site delivery) and Amazon Web Services (sizing services). Each acts as our processor or, in Google’s case for advertising, as an independent controller for its own purposes.

International transfers

We are established in Australia, and some of our providers are in the United States. Where personal data is transferred out of the EEA or the UK, we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the UK Extension for providers certified under it (including Google LLC), and on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, with supplementary measures where required, for transfers to Australia and elsewhere. You may request a copy of the relevant safeguards using the contact details below.

How long we keep it

Analytics data is retained for the period configured in Google Analytics. The advertising click identifier is kept for 90 days. Your consent record is kept for 12 months, after which we ask again. Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for our records afterwards.

Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data; the right to have inaccurate data corrected; the right to have data erased; the right to restrict or object to processing, including any processing based on legitimate interests; the right to receive your data in a portable form; and the right to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. We respond within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner’s Office; in the EEA it is the data protection authority of the country where you live or work.

Automated decision-making

We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you based solely on automated processing of data collected through this website.
